AccountAbility’s activities and impacts have always depended on its close involvement and collaboration with a wide range of partners, clients, funders and members. However, up to now our strategy development and performance accounting approach has focused on AccountAbility as an organisation, with stakeholder engagement processes looking outwards towards key networks and partners.
AccountAbility Strategy: old and new models.

AccountAbility is evolving from an international organisation largely based in London, to a globally integrated organisation with bases, representatives and active networks in Europe, Asia, North and South American, Africa and Australasia. This is not just a process of international expansion, but reflects the fact that in terms of impacts, AccountAbility increasingly is its networks. It also reflects our need to evolve in order to continue to effectively influence business that are increasingly becoming globally integrated enterprises, and policy debates which increasingly take place within global networks.
The AccountAbility Forum therefore takes a whole-network approach to developing strategy and assessing impacts, through allowing more high quality engagement and inputs from key stakeholders.
